I got so fed up with speaker cable trailing across floors and getting tangled up in other sundry cables that I decided to get a pair of BT speakers. I already own an Edifier C2X multimedia system and have been really impressed by it so I decided to look at their range first. When I saw these and the reviews I just went for it. I have not been disappointed.The speakers are just a bit shorter and squatter than a shoe box. They feel substantial and of good quality. Everything you need to get up and running is in the box and the manual is well laid out and easy to follow. You don't need a great deal of technical knowledge to connect them to your device. Talking of connections you have a number of options depending upon your needs. I wanted them for their BT capability but you can also connect them by optical, coaxial or RCA cables.Getting them set up was fairly straightforward; my PC and the speakers paired within seconds. The only minor issue I encountered was forgetting to go into my PC sound settings and changing the output device to, "Speakers (EDIFIER R1280B Stereo). As soon as I did that they burst into life. So far the BT connection has been very consistent with no problems at all. The remote is very small and light; almost insignificant in a way but it works just fine. I imagine it could get lost quite easily.So far as the sound is concerned they are really very impressive for their size. I positioned my speakers in a fairly large room with a high ceiling. They fill the room with sound so don't be too worried about them not being up to the job. They sound beautifully crisp and clear; almost pure, in fact. The first piece of music I chose to play through them was Bayreuth Return from Klaus Schulze's album Timewind from 1975. If you don't know it, it's a fairly typical 1970s German electronica album. Well, I was really impressed. I heard things in the music I hadn't heard before. There is a lovely balance across the range - they don't sound harsh or boomy in any way.Overall, they are just perfect for my needs and I heartily recommend them

Well priced, good specification, easy Bluetooth connectivity and most importantly, a good quality soundoutput.Sufficiently powerful and regulate to enjoy inside without annoying the neighbours.

Very happy with this purchase, was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality of these beasts and for not breaking the bank I think this is the best you can get. I plugged these into my xbox and gaming is a whole new experience now. Bluetooth is a bonus too. 10/10

At the outset you have to realise these are not hifi quality, but the price reflects that. I bought these to attach to a computer which plays music saved as Mp3 files. So not that quality anyway. I liked the honesty of the quoted sound range 75 to 18000 Hz (CD claims 20-20000 hz) so its a bit shocking to see speakers saying that they don't claim to do that. However the rider is that they quote 9dB range. This later number shows the sound range these speakers give. if you are getting 0.01% volume at the extreme of the range it won't be heard So those companies who use this standard are trumped by these speakers.. Relatively few people can hear that much above 18000 Hz So for most that isn't an issue. The vast majority of the sound on these comes from the larger 4 inch sub woofers. This means they are great for modern musical taste: lots of bass. If you want to play folk music or similar you will find you get what you want by turning the bass well down and the treble up. The speakers are very well made, and in my view importantly offer future proofing by having an optical input. You can wire 4 devices to these speakers and switch between them with a single button press on the remote. The sheer quality of the build makes these speakers excellent value. the remote doesn't contain controls for equalisation. I am delighted with the purchase.

Great powered speakers. Nice sound. Used with Audio Technica at-lp60xusb turntable. Speakers are bluetooth too, so can stream other sources to them.

Bought these speakers to pair with my Fluance rt80 and they definitely did not disappoint. Great bass and sound quality for the price!

The sound quality is good for the price. The remote control works well and the wired connection to my computer was easy to set up. Wireless connection to my phone was also easy to set up.Overall very happy with my purchase.

These are great speakers, read so many reviews before I purchased, used them with my audio technica record player until I bought some wharfedales, so now use these in my lounge with bluetooth from my phone, the sound is great, would make good computer or tv speakers, but just for music alone they are great, good base and treble settings with remote included, easy bluetooth pairing.
