I wish I would have found this before I spent $400.00 on a scanner.Easy to use, but you still need a way to get neg to a pos or pos to a negbut you're getting close

I can copy 35mm without a problem but this does 2 1/4 as well. It would take 4 letters of dollars to replace it. 2 1/4 is the real talking point not the 35mm

I was hoping to use this to scan with a dslr on a copy stand. I use both 120 mm and 35 mm, and I bought this as the price was very reasonable. The product seems made for amateurs and not for high quality scans, the carriers are very flimsy and take a long time to load correctly. On 120 mm the carrier covers the sprockets and film strip. If you are just looking for a phone scan it might be fine but don’t plan to use this with a dslr.The film carrier is made from Plexi which attracts a ton of dust and it is super easy to scratch, all which showed on the scans.There is also no diffusing the light which means the scans are not very good. Even after heavy editing I found that the scans from the lab were still better.The way the carrier slides on the base is also not the best, it can move around such that sliding it can make the scan out of alignment.

I bought this since it can handle 120 film format. I've used it several times more with a Mirrorless camera and macro lens. I tried the phone but for my purposes the mirrorless camera works better.

Works as intended, super easy to use. I love it. I just downloaded a film scanning app from Google play store and went to work. Haven't tried the Bluetooth clicker yet, but I'm sure it does the job- I love that it's attached to the frame too.

Color negatives, depending on the film manufacturer, have different base colors, and different colors of dyes in the film. Scanned color negs will require a lot of software work before you can print from the digital files. Black and white negatives and color transparencies will scan okay.
