ViewSonic PX748-4K 4K Projector w/ 4000 Lumens, HDR Support Auto Keystone Dual HDMI, USB-C (Renewed)

This is an awesome 4K projector. I decided to upgrade my family’s “TV” from the 1080p 3200 lumen Epson projector that has worked great for 4 years. This was an excellent upgrade at 4,000 lumens, as bright as a tv on my 120” screen. The automatic keystone was really nice and made setup a breeze.

If you buy this for gaming, it is an incredible experience. 1080p at 240hz on a large display like this looks incredible and immersive. Even at 1080p, the colors look so good it is fantastic. Also there is virtually no latency. And I am someone who is very sensitive to latency, as I usually game on a 240hz OLED monitor currently (the PG32UCDM, also great btw).Watching movies, TV and or gaming at 4K 60 also looks fantastic. Colors look great, and it is very very bright.Long story short, for the price you cant beat the performance of this projector. Gaming and Movies look incredible, I highly recommend it.

Not for home theater. This is a basic model ok for office use only.I purchased this projector to replace my economical Wimius model that boasts 1000 lumens because it is whited out during the day. My basemennt theater has indirect sunlight coming in and honestly not that bright So I was hoping that the extra 3k of lumens would make the difference but there is no noticeable difference between the two units.Further to this the viewsonic unit lacks many features that the more economical units has, such as smart iOS, memory and BLUETOOTH! Such a small feature sorely needed to connect your speakers to this unit because the internal speakers are even lower quality than the wimius model.Pros: the zoom feature and picture clarity is noticeably better, but I don’t think worth the $600+ extra dollars paid.All in all I am very disappointed in this projector and the lack of features from a trusted company like ViewSonic. The simple lack of Bluetooth ruins the home theater ability as I now need to purchase an external adaptor for $20 to connect it to my speakers. Such a cheap feature for ViewSonic not to include makes this unit a stripped down version of a projector with high price which shows your only paying for the brand name.If you are looking for a projector for your home theater / bedroom, it is worth purchasing a more economical model for $150 range to compare to this viewsonic and I am certain you will return this far more over priced and under featured projector. Sadly you can’t trust this brand anymore.

Absolute wonderful video quality, particularly well suited for presentations, upscaling art for a mural, or playing a movie.Some notes.+ Absolutely stunning video quality. Great color, and great detail. True 4k quality. Not upscaled 1080p.+ USB-C connectivity for Nintendo Switch+ Ethernet+ Comes with a remote+ 240 hz refresh for 1080p+ 240 watt light for 4000 Lumen brightness.+ Audio outThe only negatives I can think of:- This thing does put out some heat ( from the light bulb )Take it or leave it+/- No bluetooth for audio out - ( See next line for why this isn't an issue for me )+/- Some people might find the included speakers not loud-enough, but I am ok with that since I use wired amplified speakers to get more audio anyway. I also am not always a fan of Bluetooth.+/- I have NO INTEREST in streaming Netflix or other apps from this unit, so I am actually quite happy it doesn't include them.Overall - I love the projector and highly recommend it to others.
