This mascara has earned its spot as my absolute holy grail after trying countless others over the years! I keep coming back to this one because when it’s at its sweet spot, nothing else compares. The formula gives me the perfect combination of length and volume without looking overdone or fake.The wand design is honestly perfection - it grabs every single lash, including those tiny corner ones that other mascaras always seem to miss. The bristles are spaced just right to separate and define without pulling or tugging. I love how it builds up beautifully for dramatic evening looks but also works great for a natural daytime appearance with just one coat.I do have to mention the one quirk that keeps this from being absolutely flawless: the first few uses are definitely too wet and can get a bit sticky, which leads to some clumping if you’re not careful. I’ve learned to either let it air dry with the cap off for a few minutes before first use, or just apply extra slowly and use a clean spoolie brush to separate any clumps. Once you get past those initial applications, the formula reaches this perfect consistency that applies like a dream.The staying power is excellent - no flaking, smudging, or raccoon eyes even through long workdays or emotional movie nights. It comes off easily with makeup remover but doesn’t budge with regular face washing or light rubbing. I have skimpy lashes. They are sparse, fine, and short. Most mascaras clump and the brushes are too large. I have tried countless mascara brands, and struggled with clumps and uneven coverage. Makes me look like I have 3 fat lashes on each eye. Those thick brushes are great for you lucky people with lush lases, I'm sure! But what about us barely-any-lashes folks? Well Eureka I have finally found a mascara made for me! The brush is just right and I have not had any clumping. I also LOVE washable mascara - don't have to scrub (which costs me more lashes) to remove it. Just ordered my second tube. Incidentally I like the raised lettering on the tube - it makes it easy to handle and to open.

I'm wearing the Burgundy mascara on one eye with one coat. It's very pretty but it basically looks like brown mascara. I love brown mascara on my hazel eyes but I already have brown n was hoping for more of a deep burgundy/maroon-ish/dark purple-ish vibe with this but it's just not giving. I will say it's a very pretty formula that is thin and goes on the lashes very nicely. You can easily build it up for more volume. It gives nice length to the lash as you can see in the pic. I did a wear test all day and it stays on well. Not much flaking at all. No smudges. It's not waterproof, which I usually don't choose ones that aren't waterproof, but I wanted to try it and its good. I'm pleasantly surprised! I can see myself reaching for this tube quite often as a daily mascara. I recommend this one for sure 😍

Pretty good! I like this mascara.I bought this to replace my L'Oreal Voluminous Original mascara, and there are a few noticable differences.This mascara doesn't smear like my old stuff did. When it comes off, it tends to come off in "flakes". I don't mind this! In fact, I prefer it. It helps minimalize the racoon eye look.Second is the thickness. This stuff is MUCH thicker than my old mascara. I'm not sure if I like that quite as much, as I typically want something more for coloring my lashes than building them out, but it's not bad. Just maybe not as much my style.Other than that, I don't feel like this mascara does a ton for curl or length. I'm sure it would be better when paired with a curler, but I haven't felt like it holds a curl very well.But for just an every-day or once-in-a-while product, I think it works just fine.

my eyelashes were breaking....they are short.... inquired about a mascara that is smudge proof yet easy to wash off. this came up .. A+++ ... remarkably this made my lashes longer .. I didn't believe it until I saw for myself .. I really really recommend it !! I'm just a regular person .. I don't like to spend a lot on fancy cosmetics... I am hooked and won't look back... best mascara ever !

This is my go-to mascara.I bought the L'oreal Telescopic mascara at the same time as I bought this. I wanted to replace my L'oreal Voluminous mascara that I'd faithfully worn for years, but just wasn't offering the length I wanted, anymore. I've been through a protracted illness and my beauty needs have changed.After trying both the L'oreal Telescopic mascara and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High (in blackest black), I found the Maybelline mascara provided lovely length and separation of lashes even after several coats. As it is rather wet, it allows for building the volume easily. Using an eyelash curler prior is nice, but not necessary for every day looks. This stuff doesn't clump, no matter the amount you add on. It doesn't smudge. As it is wet, it transfers ever so slightly before it dries down, so take a pointy q-tip to do a tad of cleanup before finishing your face. I also really like that my lashes don't look like stiff, hairy tarantula legs. The L'oreal Telescopic provides nice length, but it clumps quickly as you add extra layers-- so, good for 1-2 swipes only. So, if you're waffling between the two mascaras, I recommend the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High.
