Quick to install. Not really any great technical skill needed. Just pull the correct fuse and replace with this. Easy

Although I took care to make sure that the hard wiring kit had the correct mini-fuses for my car, the plastic plugs were too bulky to fit in the slots in the fuse box in my Range Rover, so I had to buy piggy-back fuse extensions and plug the hard-wire kit into those, which is not ideal. I mentioned this in my original review, and GKU contacted me to pay for the piggy back fuses, a very nice gesture from a very good company. Good length of wire and it works well

Utter garbage. The fuses are not replaceable and cannot really be trusted in whatever fuse box slot you choose. Not going into my car thank you very much. Kit was a generic kit and not specific for GKU. Couldn't be bothered to return and have throw it into the bin. Have ordered a different hardwire kit from someone else that has the replaceable fuses.

Recommended when purchasing the dash cam and worked fantastic. Used a professional to connect dash cam GKUd600pro to my 2019 Mini Countryman.

Makes wiring a dashcam in easier - but beware on the cheap fuse ends which are hardwired on and have a non-replaceable fuse without the possibility of being able to piggy back an existing fuse. You blow a fuse in these and the whole wiring loom is dead unless you know how to replace. The wire gauge is also very, very thin.

Does exactly as advertised and allows my dashcam to be powered when the ignition is off. There is a Video link on a QR Code to give you a guide for Installation so was very easy to do. Cable length is perfect and easy to fit in under trim pieces.
