This recorder is excellent, with great features and sound quality. It allows you to set the amount of time it will continuously record without shutting off. The user manual has a lot to be desired. It is from China and whoever wrote the user manual is not well conversant in English. I finally figured out the instructions. Other people say it is easy to transfer files to the computer, but when I connect the recorder to my computer, nothing happens. When I go to file explorer it does not show up anywhere. I need to be able to transfer files to my computer. If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it. I have been using digital recorders for a long time and all I had to do for my others was connect the recorder to my computer with the USB cord and it would show up in File Explorer. I gave it a 5 because it is a great recorder and I hope I wil be able to figure out the key to transfer my files to the computer. I am fairly literate in this since I have a Ph.D. in technology management and I am an attorney who uses this kind of stuff regularly.Since the above review, I used a shorter cable, about 10 inches long, and the file transfers work great. I am very happy with this recorder and highly recommend it.

I purchased this recorder to have while in real estate school. This has been the best. I set it to play when I enter into class and it records without shutting off. I am impressed. I can clearly understand once I go back and listen to the recording everything my instructor has taught in class that day as a refresher. This is a must have recorder. I also like listening to the mp3 player that is a function on this recorder as well. It’s a game changer for anyone in school that wants to record for note purposes!!!!!!

So I bought this WUCOTC voice recorder because my brain has the memory of a goldfish. And let me tell you—this little guy? It remembers everything. 264GB and 18,000 hours of recording?! I can basically record my entire life and still have room left over for my cousin’s karaoke session.I use it for school lectures, family meetings, and also to catch my little brother talking to himself like a supervillain. It’s voice-activated, so it only records when someone’s actually talking—perfect for skipping all the awkward silence where I pretend to understand math.The playback is crystal clear. I once listened to my teacher explain something and realized I had no idea she was saying that while I was doodling a dragon. Thanks to this recorder, I now pass pop quizzes (sometimes).It also plays MP3s, which means I can go from serious spy mode to jamming out to Taylor Swift in like two seconds. And it has a password lock, so nobody (especially my snoopy sister) can hear me practicing my evil laugh.In conclusion: smarter than me, holds more memory than my entire brain, and now my grades are slightly less terrifying. Love this thing.

This voice activated recorder has been super useful for me and I can easily take it on the go! Whether I am in the middle of a lecture or an important meeting, it is so nice being able to record and then go back to recall important information with clear sound quality. The memory capacity is phenomenal and I’m nowhere near close to filling up 264GB of space! Overall, I’d say this recorder is user friendly and also comes with a manual to teach you how to navigate using all the buttons. Well worth it!

I would give this one a five + and it feels good in the hand and if you play with it a long enough you can pull grab it without looking at the instructions but I had to look at the instructions a little bit but I like this little thing I really enjoy it

The media could not be loaded. I just purchased this WUCOTC DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER 8GB+256GB,Model: Z1 ~ To help aid me in organizing my verbal thoughts and memories for writing my book. This is a very professional streamline design that fits most comfortably in my hand, made of quality metal and not plastic. I love all the options it has to offer, but likely I will never use them since I'm not a very techy person. I will probably stay to using the simple basic functions. It does have MP3 capability which would be terrific to use, but again, I will be using this primarily for memory retelling and random thoughts so that I can transcribe them later for my book. It's the perfect size! I also like having options for either choosing better voice clarity or choosing to have more storage space, It has several settings from high quality recording to low, but to be honest, the low quality setting was still impressive, it's not terrible at all as I suspected it might be... therefore I will opt for more storage with longer use. I also love how you can contact the maker by email for any issues, as they are very customer friendly wanting the buyer to be satisfied. I was impressed how they built their email address right into the electronic interface option "Contact" for instant reference when needed (otherwise I'd likely misplace or lose it!) It says a lot when a company stands behind their product like this. It's lightweight enough to put in a shirt pocket or to slip into a discrete place if needed, to record a conversation without knowledge by the other person; it even has settings for auto record. It's a nifty electronic! The manual was bone basic with a lot of detail that was daunting... I hope to find a user friendly video to help me understand the functions better, but being challenged understanding electronics, I had it up and operating within 10 minutes just trying to figure it out on my own. I'd definitely buy it again.I would buy this for any professional as a gift ~ it was very nicely packaged with quality packaging, an impressive five star, top shelf gift that you would be very proud to gift someone! ~ If someone gifted this to me, I'd be super thrilled!! I am always looking for the "ideal gift idea" where quality is exceptional or when my spending is limited trying to find a quality gift. This would be a perfect gift for a college graduate, a business owner, an attorney or doctor with a low price point giving a whole lot of bang for the buck! Great product.

this recorder was very good overall with multiple functions. I enjoy the turning piece making it nice and cool and its a perfect recorder for 2025. Although I dont use it often as we have smartphones it is still appropriate for certain serious non phone settings
