The build quality of this pen/pencil is very good indeed in my opinion. It is small and compact but fits in my hand perfectly. When writing with both the pen and pencil. It feels effortless and the ink flows well onto the paper as does the graphite pencil tip. Also in regard to it’s price tag. There are a lot of other similar more expensive pens on the market don’t come close to this inexpensive pencil and pen. In terms of build quality and overall writing experience.

Excellent pen with a really beautiful build and the perfect size for EDC. It was a surprise when the pencil came out the top, however given the girth of the pencil, it’s an excellent choice and means no compromise compared to trying to have them come down out the same aperture. The metal body feels really nice and I purchased this as a present which worked well as it was packaged with a premium feel and was a unique talking point thereafter. Great price for the quality

Use this when out hiking and walking it's small but reliable. Doesn't take up a lot of space easy to put in a small belt bag or sling. Ideal for outdoor use . Strong and sturdy. Highly recommend .

Exactly what you would expect from Olight, from the package opening to the pen itself the whole experience speaks high quality, I wasn’t expecting the pen to be this small whilst having a pen and pencil inside, the functionality of the S bolt is genius and stops the pen drawing in your pocket, I ordered the black one to match my torches as usual it just looks great especially the little blue accent ring, I was pleased to find replacement pencil tips included. These pens are built to last, I’m not sure on the design with all the holes, I’m assuming this is to make the pen as light as possible but I would of preferred a solid body which doesn’t have the perfect holes for dirt and dust to collect in.

Excellent pen, small compact and with both pen & pencil included it makes it a great everyday carry small pen.

Been hovering over various "EDC" style pens for a while, but reluctant to jump in, decided to give this one a go due to balance of size, apparent durability and style.I've not regretted it and keep finding excuses to use it, writes well, seems well made and strong and is a perfect size to not get in the way either in work bag, or in pocket.Not sure what refills to use for the best yet, but very happy so far!

It's a small pen and writes well, for the most part. The Mini is short in length at just under 11cm and is a bolt action pen with two main functions.The obvious one is the retractable pen part. It works well and providing you don't have huge hands, is fairly comfortable to write with. The length may be an issue if you have shovels as hands. The second function you can activate with the bolt action is the pencil. This extends a few mm out of the other end of the pen and isn't a traditional pencil. It's takes the form of a small, rounded pyramid with a sharp point. It isn't made of the traditional graphite you'd find in most pens and seems to be something much harder. When you write with it, it does look like normal pencil on the page, but the material hardly wears down. Replacements can be bought, but you do get two in the box.Downsides? Well, the pen loses two stars from me. The refills are tiny and run out very quickly - one star gone. What makes that more frustrating than it needs to be is that they are quite difficult to find in the UK and can cost around £10 for three - star number two gone. It's an expensive pen to own if you plan to use it a lot.I think, given the downsides, there are better options out there for EDC pens and I wouldn't rush to buy another of these.

However only came with one pencil tip and not two as advertised so marked down 1 star. A tad disappointing.
