I don’t normally write long reviews, but I’m obsessed with this playpen and feel compelled to share why every parent should have it. After months of researching different playpens, reading countless reviews, and experiencing a few disappointing products, I finally landed on this one—and it has completely exceeded my expectations! This thing gives us peace of mind, for sure! Comes in handy when trying to cook or prepare meals. I just stretch it across the room to create a barrier and babies stay out of the way and can roam freely on the other side, and I can still see them which is perfect! No more chasing after and bringing back to a safe place on repeat! Keeping it zig-zag allows for more stability when stretched out. It can easily form an enclosure if necessary, and folds up simply and nicely. It helps to ensure you install the corner pieces appropriately to make for easy open/close folding. It's not too heavy, it locks together easily, and the size is great! And a bonus, it's aesthetically pleasing! Happy with our purchase!

We have a 7 year old and a 1 year old, so baby proofing and baby proof areas have been a challenge to say the least. But, the versatility of this gate in the shapes and ways you can utilize it go above and beyond and are perfect for our situation. Also, the way that our daughter can see through the gate sides and over the sides didn’t upset her by making her feel separate from the rest of the family; this is the problem we ran into with most gated play areas or “play pens” is that once they are inside they can’t see anything outside of that area. It is of good quality; we have had almost 5-6 months now and have had no issues. We have even come back since and bought the extension 4 panel piece we love it so much. Highly recommend! Exceeded my expectations. The cost of this playpen is an excellent purchase for what you get. All the wood finish is smooth and sanded. The product looks great and it isn’t heavy for how large it is. It’s easy to use and the fun little activity centers have been enjoyed by my daughter. It’s a good height for my baby to learn how to stand. The gate is easy to use. The only minor issue is one screw near the gate loosens up overtime, but you can use some Loctite and it’ll stay in. We also found a good play mat to fit within the playpen. It’s nice to be able to configure the shape of the playpen to the room and furniture.

This play pen is the perfect size for our small living room space. It can be maneuvered easily into different shapes to accommodate my active baby. We encountered some minor issues early on in use. Specifically, one of the sliding animal figures fell off after my baby played with it, and the screw became loose which is a choking hazard had I not seen it fall off. The door latch also has become loose after use a few times, and my baby was able to jiggle it open. Currently, I have tied the door shut and do not use the door. Despite these issues, the playpen itself is functional in keeping our baby safe and contained, but we just aren't able to use the door latch.
