Great Technic[al] Lot!
General "not-LEGO" review:As a 90s kid who grew up slightly obsessed with LEGO but hadn't built a set in almost twenty years until recently, I was blown away by the current state of play in the greater "building brick toy" ecosystem. When my brothers and I were growing up, the options for off-brand bricks were sparse: MegaBloks were noticeably lower quality than the big L, and if we happened to find anything other than those two (dollar store, etc) it was typically so bad that the pieces weren't even worth adding into our bucket of bricks. I recently stumbled back into this world through Amazon Vine, and was stoked to discover the seemingly endless wealth of off-brand sets available, even if that stoke was a bit tempered pending a general assessment of quality.I've now built over a hundred sets of "not-LEGO" bricks found here on Amazon, and I couldn't be more impressed by the amazing options out there, in terms of set variety, quality, and (especially) price. These sets I've received account for literally tens of thousands of bricks, yet I can count on one hand the total number of pieces missing. Sure, the regular presence of extra pieces might be indicative of less-than-stellar quality control practices by these manufacturers, but it seems like the errors are overwhelmingly biased to the side of surplus, and I'm not going to complain about getting a few extra bricks per set. Feel and fit are generally great, I'd say 99% up to big L standards for studded pieces and even a shade better for technic pieces. Colors aren't always Pantone-perfect between sets (though internally they're consistent), minifigures are rarely included (and always slightly "off"; this is due to the minifigs being strictly patent-protected, unlike most bricks), and some accessory bits (sails, stickers, etc) are of more variable quality; but the most noticeable difference in my experience is just the lack of a tiny "LEGO" on every single ABS stud. It also seems that many of these manufacturers aren't beholden to the same copyright restrictions as the bigger western companies, so you're likely to encounter more unlicensed/unofficial sets from various IP ("Harry Wizard", "Star Farm"...), as well as MOCs that failed to launch. If you love the look of this set; if you want to maximize your piece-per-dollar ratio to fill out a bucket/chest/room; or if you just want to build for the sake of building, I'm happy to say that this set (or pretty much any other you can find nowadays) is worth the investment.Set-specific notes:This is a nice little lot of technical pieces, and I haven't had any problems integrating them into the rest of my collection. I've seen some reviews on this and other lots that addressed concerns with QC and tolerances, but I haven't noticed any size issues myself. Whether you have a particular build in mind, or just want to expand your collection and technical abilities, this is a decent choice when picking up an assortment of technic[al] elements.

Fantastic variety pack for building your own creations
This is a great set of pieces if your kiddos are like mine and like to build their own creations. My 12 year-old and 9 year-old kids have gotten a lot of use out of this set, and it's great since it has so many parts so that it's ok when they inevitably lose some. I would definitely recommend this

Great quality pieces!
Got these because I've had pieces go missing, and upon testing, they're really well built. I'll definitely be getting a second and third as needed, because it's great piece of mind having spares!

compatible bricks with high quality, very consistent and work well with name-brand
This review is for a 430pc assortment of plastic building components, sold as Amazon B0DBTX5S85, by seller Domoni Store. These plastic building components--made in China--appear virtually identical to the name-brand technical bricks that were designed in Denmark. Within the set, the coloring is consistent. The parts are molded without any obvious defects or voids. The parts that are supposed to swivel do swivel freely. The parts that are supposed to be a friction fit are a friction fit. The clutch strength (how well parts cling to each other) seems to be consistent across the set and matches the name-brand very well. The molding is clear, without any "flash" or rough edges. The plastic material appears to be the same sort of ABS, although I didn't do any chemical tests to confirm.Note that these parts are not pre-planned to make a specific design. They are best considered extra parts, for improvising and improving existing designs, or to replace broken and worn out components from other "sets". The pictures in the product listing are an accurate representation of the 430 parts in the set.The quality is high enough they would be a welcome addition to the inventory of almost any brick-builder that isn't concerned about mixing name-brand and compatible bricks together. I think these bricks would be suitable for children as young as 5 years old, all the way to adults.Note that although this set contains axles, it contains zero gears and only fifty bushings. As such, it could be used to fabricate various linkages, but doesn't really have a way to transmit or modify rotary motion.

Good assortment of filler parts
Picked up this set to act as filler/extra pieces for the rest of my bootLEGO collection. They work fine if you know what you're getting into. They're mostly compatible with name-brand components but there may be a few minor differences here and there.

Will allow my block building son more freedom in his designs
You get what you see in the image. The 430 pieces consist of beams, liftarms, axles, and connectors. I can't tell any difference in these "blocks" and the name brand ones. They work interchangeably. Good set, but get a set of gears to go with it for more possibilities.
