Just bought my 3rd one of these for exercise room. Not to replace but to add to existing ones. Works as designed. Helps protect carpet from equipment and movement. Only reason not 5 stars is they are a little softer than I would like which means equipment does sink into mat and can be challenging getting perfectly flat when moving equipment onto mat- helps to have two people for that. Would buy again if needed.

It can be used immediately without needing to be aired out! There is no overpowering smell that you might expect from a rubber mat. It fits perfectly under my stationary bike and prevents slipping. It unrolls and lays flat without ends that stay curled up. Overall it is a great product.

I ordered this for my new treadmill since it was leaking oil and leaving black marks on my carpet. The size is absolutely perfect; it's not too big or too small. There is no packaging around it when you receive it. It's just rolled up in the brown box it's shipped in. However, once you roll it out, it lays flat. I didn't have to do any extra work to make it lay flat against my floor, which is nice. I took pictures. All I did was remove it from the box, lay it on the floor, and set my treadmill atop it. I didn't do any extra cleaning or pressing to make it look as good as it does. The only downside is it does have a slight odor, but it goes away very quickly. After just a few minutes out of the box, I didn't smell it any more. (The odor is just a strong-ish plastic smell. Nothing gross.) The material it's made of is thick and rubbery on both sides, so it doesn't slide on my floor, and my treadmill doesn't slip around easily when it's on top of it. In fact, it took quite a bit of work to position my treadmill perfectly atop the no-slip lining! I highly recommend this!

Great mat. It came as an Amazon suggestion with the bike I had purchased, and I am glad I bought it. It definitely saves the carpet from damage! And after two years, it does have noticeable dents from the bike's weight, but it is holding up very well!
