Color sample isn't true to actual grout...
We bought this because it was the perfect color match for our backsplash tile. Unfortunately the product came out about 2 shades lighter than the sample chip supplied by Mapei. It didn't look right at all with our tile. If you buy this, just be aware that the end result is going to be lighter than the plastic sample stick. Thankfully we tried it on a spare tile/mosaic first so we didn't do a full install. But now with the opened container, we have to just throw it all away. We are bummed out, and are now trying to select an alternative color and trying to "imagine" it a couple shades lighter. It's really hard. We don't want to waste another fifty bucks on a sample (they don't make/sell a smaller amount to test with), so we are kind of stalled out, not sure what to do/how to choose an alternative from this product line.

Horrible to work with
It's runny. It's impossible to clean up and if you don't get it all you have to use goof-off paint remover to get it up. By the time you've sponged off the excess, half of it is out of the grooves. The final results are great but it takes 10 times the work regular grout does. I wish I'd never gotten it and now I'm stuck halfway through my project with it.

Would not recommend.
Also bought the Alabaster color for our floor tile and it came out way lighter than shown- almost a white.. Had the rep come out and he agreed. Got a bottle of refresh in both Alabaster and the next color up which was quite darker (Pewter). The Alabaster refresh did nothing and was still almost a white color. When we used the Pewter it actually came up as the Alabaster color we wanted. Colors are way off. Would not recommend.
