Fantastic product. Boils fast. Nice and quiet. Only downside is it gets very hot! The sides of the kettle get very warm. Too warm to touch.

Brilliant and looks good

Really like this kettle and get compliments. I like the rubber feel to it. The handle is nice to hold. Boils quickly and easy to clean. Bit expensive but it’s good quality so you get what you pay for. I like the lid too. It pops in and out with ease and makes filling it up easier. The design is great. Well thought out and a blue light on the the button is subtle but cool 👌

Purchased using gift vouchers in June 2021. A little disappointed as the handle is coated and not wooden but love the quirky retro design and colour, so unusual and a bit of treat to have something so different!It's a bit tricky to keep clean and scale free (we live in very hard water area) but outside wipes down. The boiled water tastes awful but found if you wait for the boiling and simmering of the water to stop before you pour the water into your cup, the taste disappears. Horrible, tastes like TCP. The scale filter isn't fit for purpose if you don't keep it scale free, it just pours through. October 2021 I noticed the coating on the handle peeling. So I reached out to Swan to help as it was still fairly new. I received a copy/paste response from their customer service team who clearly hadn't read my message or understood the nature of the issue. In order to get a refund or credit you have to write in permanent marker all over the appliance, cut the cord and submit pictures to their customer service and wait for approval. How bloody stupid is that? I'd have to buy a kettle in the meantime or use my hob to boil water which isn't a massive issue, worse things going on in the world than a peeling kettle handle, but the inference that in order to get a refund or a replacement you have to prove you will no longer use the product. I don't like that, that somehow I'm having to prove I'm not lying or intend to be dishonest? A replacement was offered but why would I want the same product with the same fault anyway?I would have been happy with a goodwill gesture or some credit towards a new alternative Swan product if they couldn't go for a full refund. But they took the hard line and I'm not digging that.Nope, Swan. You got it wrong this time. I'll keep using the peely handle kettle and then when the time comes, I'll chose an alternative and better quality brand. won't be buying the matching toaster now, either.

I love the look of this kettle and it does what it should! Been using for a while now and the handle still looks amazing (I was worried after reading another review) would 100% recommend

Bought this TWICE, one year apart, because I love how it looks and assumed I’d just accidentally got a faulty one. But now after one year this is defective too. I have to take the entire lid off the kettle every time to pour water out though, otherwise it just comes out in tiny drips. Don’t waste your money.
